Home Industry Telecoms UAE telco Etisalat cuts GCC roaming rates Etisalat previously lowered roaming rates on April 1 last year by Robert Anderson April 2, 2018 UAE telecoms provider Etisalat has reduced its roaming rates for voice calls, text messages and data in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council. Starting from April 1, prepaid and postpaid customers will receive discounts of up to 29 per cent while travelling in the region. The specific savings are 29 per for data, 21 per cent for receiving incoming calls, 14 per cent for outgoing texts, 4 per cent for outgoing local calls and 3 per cent foroutgoing calls to the UAE and other GCC countries.
