Home GCC UAE UAE VP promotes 604 Civil Defence staff The Civil Defence is the UAE’s fire department by Robert Anderson September 25, 2018 UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Tuesday ordered the promotion of 604 staff at Directorate General of Civil Defence. The promotions included officers, non-commissioned officers and civilian employees at directorate, which is the UAE’s fire fighting department, Dubai Media Office said. Sheikh Mohammed previously promoted 821 immigration staff following a visit to Dubai International Airport in July.
