Home Transport Aviation Dubai’s Emirates to offer Diwali sweets on flights The carrier has been serving India for 33 years by Staff Writer November 6, 2018 Dubai carrier emirates said it would offer passengers Diwali sweets on all flights to India to market the festival of lights. This week, the carrier has been offering Diwali sweets from its Mithai truck in City Walk and Bollywood Parks Dubai to mark the start of the festive period. Its inflight Diwali service will also soon begin with Motichoor Ladoos, made up of small flour balls deep fried in ghee and simmered in a cardamom and saffron infused sugar syrup, decorated with silver leaf and pistachio, served with all hot tray meals from November 7 to November 10. Business and first class customers will also be given Anjeer Chakkar- a sugar-free sweet, loaded with cashew nuts, almonds raisins, pistachio, walnut, and dried figs presented in a circular form. The carrier has been serving India for 33 years and today operates 170 flights a week to cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. 0 Comments
