Abu Dhabi TV cameraman killed in Yemen bombing

Six civilians, including Ziad Al-Sharabi, a cameraman with Abu Dhabi TV, and two children were killed in a bomb attack in Yemen on Monday, official news agency WAM reported.

The blast took place at a market in Mocha on Monday evening.

About 20 people were injured in the attack, including Abu Dhabi TV reporter Faisal Al-Dhahbani, the report added.

According to the report, the attack was carried out by Houthi militants.

Local officials said the blast was thought to have been caused by a motorbike bomb.

The war in Yemen, which has been ongoing for almost four years now, has sparked a humanitarian crisis in the country.

The Houthis are fighting against the internationally recognised government led by Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi – who is also supported by a Saudi-led Arab coalition.
