Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a series of webinars to increase the private sector’s awareness on matters of business environment and practices, and several economic sectors, it announced on Wednesday, April 1.

The chamber organised the first online workshop in partnership with McKinsey & Company. Attended by over 150 participants, the webinar dealt with best practices for remote work arrangements for the private sector, the associated challenges, and procedures and technologies used.

The chamber’s ability to organise such events and training workshops comes after its success in converting most of its core services, that it provides through its customer happiness centre, into smart services, Hamad Buamim, president and CEO of Dubai Chamber noted.

“As we launch this initiative today, we are confident about our success as UAE is one of the top countries globally, and first regionally, when it comes to digital transformation, business agility and future readiness according to the IMD World Competitiveness Report 2019. We are ready to take this to the next level and remain committed to supporting business continuity and the efforts of UAE’s leadership in these challenging times.”

The chamber provides an integrated system of smart and electronic services, enabling its customers to complete their transactions remotely and according to highest international standards.

The smart services provided by the chamber include certificates of origin, attestations, membership services, studies, research and reports, business and legal services, issuance of ATA Carnet , Dubai Chamber’s CSR Label, and Business Groups and Councils groups services as well as services available to economic and professional  bodies.
