Home UAE Dubai ENOC to provide free fuel to vehicles involved in Dubai’s sterilisation programme ENOC Link trucks will be located in designated locations which will be determined by Dubai Municipality’s daily plans for the disinfection campaign by Varun Godinho April 6, 2020 Fuel delivery digital venture ENOC Link, the fully-owned subsidiary of Dubai-based ENOC Group, said on Sunday that it would provide free petrol and diesel on-site to all vehicles and equipment involved in the Dubai Municipality’s ongoing sterilisation programme. The emirate’s disinfection programme has been extended to 24 hours a day until April 18 as part of its Covid-19 precautionary measures. Read: Dubai extends sterilisation drive to 24 hours for two weeks Dedicated ENOC Link diesel trucks with a capacity of 5,000 litres and 2,600 litres carrying Special 95 petrol were exclusively fueling Dubai Municipality’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, reported official news agency WAM. ENOC Link trucks will be located in designated locations which will be determined by Dubai Municipality’s daily plans for the disinfection campaign. “We are committed to utilising our expertise and technology to support our government’s heroic efforts in fighting Covid-19 outbreak. The government’s mandate to execute a nationwide disinfection drive is of grave importance for the safety of our communities and we are proud to lend our support by ensuring that their fleet has uninterrupted access to fuel, irrespective of their location,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO of ENOC. In February, ENOC said that it plans to open 22 new service stations across the UAE by the end of 2020.
