All brands have undertaken precautionary measures and put in place a holistic sanitisation and physical distancing plan.

Cameron Mitchell, chief executive officer of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment said, “Following the reopening of Magic Planet in Ajman earlier this week, I am delighted that Dreamscape, Magic Planet, Little Explorers and iFly Dubai will now reopen in Dubai in compliance with government guidelines. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that we can safely reopen and we have proactively introduced innovative new measures to allay any concerns that our guests may have. We are excited, prepared and ready to welcome back our guests and employees and look forward to reopening more of our entertainment experiences across the region as restrictions are eased.”

At MAF’s leisure, entertainment and cinema locations, surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised after every guest interaction while it is mandatory for employees to wear masks and gloves. All team members are to have their temperatures checked on arrival for their shifts.

Safe distance is maintained with the installation of instructional signage and the deployment of safety ambassadors to guide guests on best physical distancing practices.

To maintain highest levels of food safety, employees will be following strict safety protocols which include sanitising of workstations and countertops every 30 minutes and washing their hands at least every 20 minutes and before handling food.
