Home Industry Media Dubai Lynx announces line-up of speakers for virtual event The virtual media and advertising event will be held from October 5-7 by Staff writer September 30, 2020 Dubai Lynx has announced the line-up of speakers from across the MENA region for its inaugural Lynx Live Virtual event, which will be held from October 5-7. The event will be hosted on Cannes Lions’ global platform, Lions Live. In the keynote session, Patou Nuytemans, CEO MENA and executive partner worldwide at Ogilvy, Ghassan Harfouche, group CEO of Middle East Communications Network and Dani Richa, chairman and CEO of BBDO Middle East, Africa and Pakistan will debate the impact of the global pandemic on regional creativity. Speakers discussing their creative journeys include Ali Rez, regional executive creative director, Middle East and Pakistan at Impact BBDO, Kalpesh Patankar, chief creative officer, MENA at VMLY&R and author Zainab Salbi. Talking about the relevance of humour in creative strategy will be Tahaab Rais, regional head of Strategy and Truth Central, FP7 McCann MENAT and president – MENAT SLC, Sagorika Heryani, head of Strategy at Grey MENA, Maria Dodero, regional senior brand manager at Nestle and Rayyan Aoun, executive creative director at J. Walter Thompson Saudi Arabia. A ‘Marketers From MENA’ session will see Campaign Middle East’s editor, Austyn Allison chat with Christine Harb, VP of Marketing, CEMEA at Visa. Thea Skelton, festival director at Dubai Lynx, said: “Over the course of three days, these speakers will share with our audience honest accounts of their successes and learnings, thoughts on the future and guidance on the collective challenges facing businesses today.” The annual media and advertising event, which was postponed from March to September 2020, was cancelled for this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The next festival will now be held from March 7-10, 2021.
