GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,215 cases; total infections rise past 105,000

The death toll in the UAE has risen to 463

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention registered 1,215 new coronavirus cases as well as 1,162 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The new infections were detected as a result of 115,293 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also confirmed four deaths, scaling the fatality toll to 463.

The registered infection count has risen to 115,602, including 107,516 recoveries and 463 deaths.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 1,657 new coronavirus cases and 30 deaths across the sultanate.

The total cases in the country have now reached 109,953, including 95,624 recoveries and 1,101 deaths, Times of Oman reported.

In the past 72 hours, 1,395 recoveries were reported.

Qatar
The health ministry reported 204 new cases, 188 recoveries and one death in the last 24 hours.
