Gitex 2020: Israeli-based Kramer makes UAE debut at tech expo

Kramer, an Israel-headquartered Pro AV brand, is showcasing its solutions in the GCC for the first time at Gitex Technology Week 2020. The company operates offices in more than 30 countries while its products are available in 100 more, the company says.

This deal follows the Israel-United Arab Emirates normalisation agreement, which was signed in September 2020.

Visitors at Gitex this year will be amongst the first in the region to see Kramer’s range of products for the corporate and education markets and mission-critical infrastructure for command and control environments.

Kramer’s latest technologies include innovations in delivering AV over IP, simplified scaling, and extension solutions with products such as the KIT-400 and wireless presentation and collaboration advance through the VIA range.

“The last eight months have seen the world transform its video and audio use, with the rise of hybrid working and blended learning methods. These technologies now power the way we work, learn, and socialise. Our signal distribution solutions bridge the worlds of traditional Pro AV and IT to facilitate high quality, flexible and secure video and audio communications and will bring game-changing opportunities to the region,” said Sam Bonomo, executive VP at Kramer.

Kramer has entered into a distribution agreement with Abcom Distribution, a provider of audio-visuals who will represent the brand in the UAE.

“Israel is renowned for developing world-leading technology solutions and we are proud to be the first to bring Kramer’s products to the professional audio-visual and IT markets in the UAE,” said Pradeep Kumar, general manager at Abcom Distribution. “We signed the agreement with Kramer on 12th November 2020 and are excited to host their participation at GITEX this year.”
