Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,735 cases, 3 deaths The case count in the UAE stands at 534,445 by Zainab Mansoor May 8, 2021 The UAE has reported 1,735 new Covid-19 cases on May 8, its health ministry has confirmed. The new infections were detected as a result of 200,648 examinations conducted across the country to screen for the virus. Meanwhile, 1,701 recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours, raising the recovery count to 514,769. With three additional fatalities, the death toll has risen to 1,610.
