Home Covid-19 Patients and visitors will require Al Hosn green pass to access SEHA facilities in UAE The new rule will be effective starting Tuesday, September 7, and will be applicable to those aged 16 and over by Varun Godinho September 5, 2021 The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has said that patients and visitors above the age of 16 will require the green pass on the Al Hosn app to access its healthcare facilities and centres in the UAE. This new rule will be effective starting Tuesday, September 7. The green pass will be mandatory to access SEHA’s healthcare centres, outpatient clinics in hospitals, its vaccination centres, and also for visitors visiting those who have been admitted to a hospital. The green pass will not be required for visits to emergency departments and drive-through testing facilities. The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee last month approved the use of the pass to permit entry to most public places only for those individuals with a green status on Alhosn app. This does not affect your Emergency or Urgent Care needs. If you are experiencing any symptom or require immediate medical attention, head to the nearest SEHA Hospital or AHS Clinic. pic.twitter.com/Cl7ByzzTrA — SEHA – شركة صحة (@SEHAHealth) September 5, 2021 In Abu Dhabi, the public places where entry will be restricted to those with the green pass include shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, and all other retail outlets, including those not within a shopping centre, as well as gyms, recreational facilities and sporting activities, health clubs, resorts, museums, cultural centres and theme parks. The list also includes universities, institutes, public and private schools and children’s nurseries in the emirate.
