Home UAE Dubai Israel Aerospace Industries confirms participation at Dubai Airshow 2021 The Israeli aerospace and defense company will be present at the airshow which will be held from November 14-18 at Dubai World Central by Varun Godinho November 4, 2021 For the first-time ever, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will participate in the Dubai Airshow, the upcoming edition of which will be held from November 14-18. The Israeli aerospace and defense company will be present at Booth 300 and will showcase a variety of its systems across civil aviation, space systems, and special-mission aircraft, among others. IAI’s Systems-of-Systems with air, naval, land, space, and cyber applications will be on display at its booth, showcasing over 70 years of innovation. At Dubai Airshow, IAI reportedly plans to expand its strategic collaboration in the region by signing new cooperation agreements with local companies and broadening existing partnerships that have been signed during the past year, including an agreement on cargo conversions with the UAE’s Etihad Engineering and on aircraft maintenance with Bahrain’s Gulf Air, among others, according to UAE news agency WAM. “A year after the signing of the Abraham Accords, IAI is thrilled to participate in the Dubai Airshow and to broaden cooperation with business partners in the Gulf region,” said IAI CEO and president Boaz Levy. “Already in the last year, IAI exhibited in Dubai CyberTech and in IAC Dubai, sharing our innovative cyber and space solutions. We believe that there are countless opportunities to work together, share our knowledge, and develop new defense and civilian solutions with our partners in the UAE and broader Gulf region.” The Dubai Airshow which will be held at Dubai World Central will feature over 20 country pavilions, and showcase more than 160 aircraft. The event – the only global airshow to take place since 2019 – will also offer enhanced networking opportunities and host several free-to-attend conferences featuring over 150 industry experts.
