Home Telecoms Mobile Mobile World Congress 2022: OPPO showcases Find X5 Series and next-gen flash charge technology The 240W SuperVOOC can charge a 4,500mAh battery to 100 per cent in about nine minutes by Divsha Bhat March 1, 2022 At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022, OPPO unveiled a lineup of technologies, including 150W SuperVOOC, 240W SuperVOOC, and its series of smartphones, including the Find X5 Series, Find N, and OnePlus 10 Pro. It also showcased its 5G CPE T2 that converts 5G to high-speed Wi-Fi as well as a range of innovative technologies, such as MariSilicon X imaging NPU, its air glass, retractable camera, and more. The 150W SuperVOOC flash charge can charge a 4,500 mAh battery to 50 per cent in five minutes and deliver a 100 per cent charge in just 15 minutes. It also integrates the OPPO’s battery health engine, which debuted last week on the OPPO Find X5 series. The technology helps keep the battery performing at 80 per cent of its original capacity after as many as 1,600 charge cycles, doubling the current industry standard of 800 cycles. 150W SuperVOOC flash charge will be launched on selected OnePlus smartphones in Q2, 2022. In addition, in areas without existing broadband infrastructure, devices can connect to fast 5G internet by simply connecting to a 5G CPE device with a 5G SIM card inserted. The OPPO 5G CPE T2 is the latest product lineup in its 5G CPE. It features a Qualcomm SnapdragonTM X62 5G modem-RF system and updated O-Reserve 2.0 smart antenna technology, through which it is capable of converting 5G signals into fast and stable Wi-Fi connections. With the new T2, OPPO has reached agreements with operators across the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe to launch 5G CPE in the second half of 2022. Shipments of its Find X3 Series have increased by 140 per cent compared with the previous generation.
