Dubai’s Global Village announces extension till May

Dubai’s multicultural family destination for shopping, and entertainment, Global Village, is now open till May 7.

Global Village, which was earlier scheduled to operate for 167 days until April 10, 2022, has now been extended for four more weeks.

During the holy month, Global Village will offer a line-up of authentic Ramadan traditions, including Iftar and Suhoor at the Majlis of the World launched last season, official news agency WAM reported.

On weekends, guests will enjoy the fireworks at 9pm. Meanwhile, pavilions will offer Ramadan and Eid gift items.

Bader Anwahi, CEO at Global Village, said, “The holy month of Ramadan is a time for reflection and an occasion to reconnect with loved ones, and there is no better place than Global Village to experience these authentic moments. This year, is also the first time in our history that we will be able to celebrate Eid Al Fitr together, which will be a very special moment for us.”

This year’s edition hosted 26 pavilions representing more than 80 cultures. Tickets per entry were priced at Dhs15 online and Dhs20 at the gate.
