Budget carrier flydubai restarts flights to Saudi Arabia’s Ha’il and Tabuk

The resumption of these flights will take flydubai’s network in Saudi Arabia to ten destinations, including Dammam, Gassim, Jeddah, Taif and Riyadh

Flydubai suspends flights to Sri Lanka till end of August

Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced it is resuming flights to Ha’il and Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. This brings the number of destinations served by the carrier in the kingdom to ten.

The airline currently has a network of more than 95 destinations in 50 countries.

Services to Ha’il and Tabuk commence on May 9 with five weekly flights.

The carrier’s network in Saudi Arabia includes AlUla, Dammam, Gassim, Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Taif and Yanbu.

Additionally, flydubai’s flight to Gassim recommences on May 1 with a daily flight.

The carrier also restarted its operation to Taif from April 15 with a daily service.

Frequency details

Flights to Ha’il Airport and Tabuk Airport will operate five times a week from Dubai World Central. Following the completion of the northern runway refurbishment project by June 22, services to Ha’il and Tabuk will resume from Terminal 2 from June 23.

Flights to 34 destinations from flydubai’s network of more than 90 destinations will operate from DWC during this period. These include Addis Ababa, Bahrain, Delhi, Jeddah, Kuwait, Mumbai, Muscat and Riyadh.

In Europe, the airline is resuming its flights to Catania in Sicily on June 24. It presently operates to Naples, and will also start a new service to Pisa from June 24.

In other news, in March, the low-cost carrier announced that its total annual revenue earning in 2021 was Dhs5.3bn compared to Dhs2.8bn in 2020, reflecting an increase of 86 per cent.
