The daily rise in cases has crossed the 1,000 mark for the second consecutive time, after the country’s health ministry reported 1,031 Covid-19 infections yesterday. The health ministry also announced 876 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 897,324. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, keeping the death toll unchanged at 2,305.
