UAE reports 1,435 Covid-19 cases, 1,243 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 1,435 Covid-19 cases on June 16.

The new cases were detected, after 311,742 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 1,243 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 903,690.

One death was reported in the past 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 2,306.

The nationwide case count has risen to 923,001.
