Upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace, Sheikh Mohamed was received by President Katerina Sakellaropoulou of Greece. An official reception ceremony was also held at the palace. Today I arrived in the ancient city of Athens and was pleased to meet President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and members of the Greek government. The UAE is committed to strengthening strategic relations and economic ties with our key partners. pic.twitter.com/FIZubu20p0 — محمد بن زايد (@MohamedBinZayed) August 25, 2022 Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by a delegation comprising Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; and Sulaiman Hamid Salem Al Mazroui, the UAE Ambassador to Greece, official news agency WAM reported. Earlier this month, Sheikh Mohamed visited Egypt where the two leaders exchanged views regarding several issues of mutual interest and regional and global developments.
