In 2022, Mubadala acquired a stake in Skyborn Renewables, the world’s largest private offshore wind developer, as well as inked a MoU to advance sustainable mobility in Abu Dhabi and the Middle East region. In February, it signed an agreement with Oman and Etihad Rail Company to develop the 303km railway network connecting the UAE with Oman. In addition to spearheading Mubadala, Al Mubarak chairs the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Emirates Global Aluminium.
