Wizz Air adds 10th aircraft, introduces direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Cairo

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has announced the addition of its 10th aircraft to the fleet and the operation of a new route connecting the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi, with Sphinx International Airport in Cairo starting from November 1, 2023.

The new route provides affordable, hassle-free, point-to-point travel for tourists and residents in both Egypt and the UAE.

The flights from Abu Dhabi and Cairo will operate on Wednesday and Sunday.

Johan Eidhagen, managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, said: “The new route between Abu Dhabi and Cairo will enable our customers to explore both countries through hassle-free travel experiences.
