Address Hotels and Resorts debuts 1,484-key property in Makkah

Address Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of Address Jabal Omar Makkah in Saudi Arabia.

Located in the holy city of Makkah, the property features 1,484 rooms and suites and is the tallest building at present within the Jabal Omar development.

Designed by architects Foster and Partners, the towers of Address Jabal Omar Makkah span over 5,000 sqm of prime space. The development includes a commercial area featuring a range of shops, food courts, and restaurants.

The interconnecting bridge that links the property’s two towers houses a prayer room with a panoramic view of the Kaaba.

Access to Makkah’s key sites

Address Jabal Omar Makkah is located close to the Holy Kaaba and Al Masjid Al Haram, as well as the Makkah Museum, Masjid Al Jinn, Jannat al-Mu’alla Cemetery, and the Abraj Al Bait Towers.

Property offerings

F&B options at the Address Jabal Omar Makkah include four restaurants, two lobby lounges, and two club lounges. The hotel’s signature dining venue offers traditional Hejazi cuisine alongside live cooking stations. The dining spaces have views of Al Masjid Al Haram.

The spa and wellness offerings at the hotel feature the first-ever Foot Spa by Address Hotels and Resorts, and the fitness centre at the property is equipped with Technogym equipment.

The new hotel can also support conferences and events that range from a wedding ceremony to a Suhour or Iftar during Ramadan. The property’s multifunctional meeting spaces, including breakout rooms and large ballrooms, can cater to events of varying scales.

Another major hospitality group that is widely present in Makkah is Accor with over 9,000 rooms that have direct access to the Haram. Later this year, Accor is expected to open the Novotel Makkah Thakher City Residences.
