It currently has the best-attended edition of the tournament ever, FIFA said on Sunday, surpassing Canada in 2015. Prior to the evening game between previous champions the US and Sweden in Melbourne, a total of 1,339,331 people had been through the turnstiles, FIFA said. An attendance of 27,706 in Melbourne pushed the overall number to a Women’s World Cup record. Morocco versus France Meanwhile, the Morocco women’s team is etching history along the same lines as their male counterparts did in the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. Morocco is participating in their first-ever world cup and take on France in the Round of 16. Morocco is ranked 72 in the 72nd in the world while France are ranked 5. Morocco had a disappointing start to their tournament with a 6-0 loss against Germany but made a remarkable comeback with wins against Colombia and South Korea.
