In a blog post, the search giant shared its tribute, saying, “Today’s Doodle celebrates Saudi Arabia’s National Day. On this day in 1932, the nations of Najd and Hijaz united to officially become the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Spectacular fireworks at Jeddah Promenade The Jeddah Promenade is set to host one of the most extensive fireworks displays in the region. The mesmerizing spectacle, scheduled to commence at 9 p.m., promises to be visible from various parts of the Red Sea city. The Royal Guard march will showcase the group’s skills in a parade featuring marches, music, cavalry shows, and processions. Reports from the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) indicate that a diverse range of Royal Saudi Air Force planes, including the Typhoon, F-15S, Tornado, and the F-15, are expected to perform on Saturday. These exhilarating air shows will take place in 13 cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dhahran, Damman, Al-Jawf, Al-Ahsa, Taif, Al-Baha, Tabuk, Abha, Khamis Mushait, and Al-Khobar. Adding to the National Day celebrations, the Saudi Falcons Aerobatic Team will perform breathtaking aerial displays across several cities. Family activities Families can immerse themselves in the festivities with henna stations, face painting booths, and play areas for children. The celebration atmosphere will be further enhanced by captivating light shows, cultural exhibits, and special deals in malls, hotels, and restaurants. Dubai Parks and Resorts join the celebration In honour of Saudi Arabia’s 93rd National Day, Dubai Parks and Resorts will illuminate the sky with dazzling green and gold fireworks. Visitors to the Middle East’s largest theme park destination will have the opportunity to enjoy the Saudi-themed fireworks at two separate times, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Theme: ‘We Dream and we achieve’ The theme chosen for Saudi National Day this year is ‘We Dream and We Achieve.’ The official National Day website emphasizes, “Our dreams have not stopped since the foundation of this Kingdom, and we will work to achieve them as long as we live. Let’s celebrate our accomplishments.” Saudi National Day, celebrated annually on September 23, marks the unification of the Kingdom of Hejaz and Nejd, initially known as the Kingdom of Hejaz and Sultanate of Nejd, in 1932.
