New K-12 international school coming to Sharjah’s Aljada project

Sharjah-based real estate developer Arada and private education company Innoventures Education have collaborated to open a new K-12 international school in Sharjah’s Aljada project.

The UAE-based education company manages five educational institutions, including Dubai International Academy – Emirates Hills, Dubai International Academy – Al Barsha, Raffles World Academy, Raffles International School, Collegiate International School, and nine Raffles Early Childhood Centres (ECC). Its DIA Emirates Hills is the first and only IB continuum school.

The school will be Innoventures Education’s first in Sharjah.

What the school will offer

With a capacity for 2,000 pupils, the educational institution will offer American and IB curricula.

Spread across a 480,000 sq ft plot in the northwest part of the megaproject, the school will be located close to residential communities, Madar family entertainment district and Arada CBD business park.

It will feature two swimming pools, basketball and tennis courts, gyms, and a full-size football pitch.

It will also have outdoor learning spaces, labs for science, design and technology, studios for visual and performing arts, media and recording lab, rooms for Arabic and Islamic studies, and an auditorium.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024; it will welcome its first pupils at the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year.
