The move will make the airline’s website more comprehensive and could see it offer bundle deals to customers. Dubai’s flagship carrier Emirates already offers hotel, tour and car rental bookings through its site. Hotels.flydubai.com will offer a selection 954,000 accommodation options globally, with guest reviews and a range of payment options. Flydubai chief information officer Ramesh Venkat said the website would give passengers more options when flying with the carrier. “With Booking.com, we will offer one of the largest accommodation databases in the world and we are pleased to be able to extend these numerous opportunities to our customers,” he said. The partnership follows significant investment in the carrier’s website, which now offers customised content based on a user’s device, location and previous interactions. Flydubai recently added WiFi and live television services on-board selected flights. Last week, the carrier announced it was making its Dubai, Bucharest service daily.
