The start of the month of Shawwal – celebrated as Eid Al Fitr- marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. With the first day of Eid now confirmed as Wednesday, private sector workers will get a four-day weekend from July 6 to July 9 to mark the occasion.
