The carrier stopped serving Dubai in 2012 due to issues with its B757 narrow body aircraft, according to Business Traveller. It will now fly three teams a week between the two destinations, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, with a 158-seater A320 that was recently acquired. Flight RA 229 will depart Kathmandu at 23:30 and arrive in Dubai at 02:25. RA 230 will leave Dubai at 04:10 and arrive in Kathmandu at 10:10. The service will compete with flydubai, which flies directly between the two cities three times a day.
