Home Transport Aviation Abu Dhabi Airports launches new initiative to train Emirati graduates With a focus on the aviation sector, the new ASAAS programme will facilitate the recruitment, training and development of young Emirati talent by Gulf Business September 21, 2022 Abu Dhabi Airports has introduced the ‘ASAAS’ programme to recruit and train Emirati university graduates interested in joining the aviation sector. The programme will offer them knowledge and experience in airport operations and management. As part of this programme, successful university graduates will receive on-the-job training over a six-month period that is fully sponsored by Abu Dhabi Airports in collaboration with leading educational institutions. The training has been designed to cover a wide range of industry-relevant subjects, such as airport operations (land and airside), aircraft flight and ground operations, health and safety, security management and general business management studies. Engineer Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri, MD and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “Investing in the aviation sector is at the heart of our mandate at Abu Dhabi Airports.
