The Abu Dhabi government has announced a rental rebate on additional businesses in the private sector to help them counter the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their operations.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development has decided to offer a 20 per cent rental rebate to beauty and hair salons, dental clinics and nurseries in the emirate to “further stimulate business growth and fast-track economic development.”
The rental rebate will be applicable to new contracts signed between October 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020, and also to contracts renewed between April 1, 2020 – September 30, 2020.
It added that lease-to-own contracts will be excluded from this initiative.
