The Egyptian interior ministry later said in a statement that it had arrested a suspect in connection with the murder. The bank said it could not provide further comment because the matter was under investigation. Loutfy, 64, joined ADIB Egypt in 2008 and was credited as the first woman to lead an Islamic bank. In a series of tweets, ADIB CEO Tirad Al Mahmoud hailed Loutfy’s contribution to the Arab and Egyptian banking sector and role of Arab women and said the bank was mourning her loss. 0 Comments
