The park, built at a cost of around $1bn, is receiving the “final aesthetic finishing touches” and is also undertaking operations training, ride safety checks and quality assurance testing across all restaurants and shops, a statement said. Located in Yas Island, the 1.65 million sq. ft. park includes six areas including DC’s Metropolis, Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros. Plaza. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will feature a total of 29 rides, attractions and live entertainment options. Visitors will also have the chance to meet DC superheroes like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and animation characters such as Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones. Tickets are now available priced from Dhs295 ($80) for adults and Dhs230 ($63) for children. An annual pass costs Dhs695 ($189). Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi has been developed by Abu Dhabi’s Miral – the developer behind Yas Island. Miral is currently focussing on building its entertainment portfolio at Yas Island. The island already includes Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, CLYMB, and opening in 2022, the recently announced SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. Yas Island also offers the Yas Marina Circuit, seven hotels, a live performance and concert arena, an 18-hole championship golf course, marina, beach, and Yas Mall. 0 Comments
