Home GCC UAE Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC now offers free assisted fuelling ADNOC Distribution scrapes Dhs10 fee for having assistance while refuelling vehicles by Zainab Mansoor November 3, 2019 Motorists in the UAE will no longer pay Dhs10 fee to have an attendant refuel their vehicles at ADNOC service stations. The move, implemented from Sunday, November 3, is based on customer feedback as well as higher retail fuel volumes recorded in Q3 due to a similar campaign earlier this year, a statement said. The company does not expect this initiative to impact its profitability or dividend policy, the statement added. ADNOC had waived the fee for those registered with its wallet service between 11am to 5pm during July and August this year. The premium paid service resumed during the remaining hours, an earlier report said. The ADNOC wallet is a smart pay system, allowing customers to put in credit and subsequently pay using their Emirates ID or other tokens at the pump. It could also be used to pay for fuel, car wash, ADNOC Lube and C-Store purchases. Another new programme is set to be launched later this year, the company said. “Our company will launch a new loyalty programme, ADNOC Rewards, before the end of the year,” said Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, ADNOC Distribution’s acting CEO.
