Abu Dhabi developer Bloom Properties has awarded five construction contracts worth over Dhs1bn since the beginning of 2017, it announced on Monday.

The developer appointed General Construction Company for the main construction works of Stella Maris, Becon Construction for Bloom Heights, and Emirates Link Maltauro for Faya at Bloom Gardens and Soho Square.

Airolink has been contracted to build Bloom Education’s Brighton College UK and Dwight School New York schools in Dubai.

Stella Maris is 52-storey a luxury waterfront development in Dubai Marina that will comprise 313 high-end residences ranging from one- to three-bedroom units, as well as four-bedroom duplex apartments and penthouses.

Also in Dubai is Bloom Heights, a mixed-use development in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) that will consist of two high-rise towers with a shared podium. It will offer a total of 686 residential units including studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments.

Bloom’s 89,000 sqm Dubai school campus in Al Barsha South – also under construction – will house two K-12 educational institutions – a British curriculum school affiliated with Brighton College UK and an American International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum school affiliated with Dwight School New York.

In Abu Dhabi, Bloom Properties has started the main works of Faya, the fourth phase of its Bloom Gardens master-planned community with 132 townhouses spread across 28 four-unit clusters and four five-unit clusters.

Most recently, the developer awarded the contract for the construction of the Soho Square mixed-use development in the University neighborhood of Saadiyat island in Abu Dhabi. Located close to the New York University Abu Dhabi campus, the project will feature 302 luxury residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, townhouses and a penthouse.

Most developments are scheduled for completion in less than two years.

Sameh Muhtadi, CEO of Bloom Holding, said: “The awarding of contracts demonstrates our commitment to delivering all our announced projects on schedule.

“We have appointed reputed contractors and suppliers to ensure strict adherence to the highest quality standards through all stages of construction.”
