The capital’s first low-cost carrier will fly from Abu Dhabi to Chattogram twice every week on Sundays and Tuesdays. Serviced by an Airbus A320, the flight will take off from Abu Dhabi at 9am and land at Chattogram at 4.10pm. The addition of Chattogram will increase the carrier’s network to seven destinations. It already operates a flight to the Bangladesh capital city of Dhaka twice a week on Fridays and Wednesdays. The new airline – the UAE’s fifth – was formed following an agreement by Etihad Airways and Air Arabia to establish an independent joint venture company that will operate as a low-cost passenger airline with Abu Dhabi International Airport as its hub.
