Air Arabia to resume flights to four cities in Saudi Arabia

Low-cost carrier Air Arabia has announced that it will resume direct flights between Sharjah and four cities in Saudi Arabia starting April 28.

The four routes in Saudi that passengers will now be able to fly to direct from Sharjah International Airport are Taif, Al Jouf, Gassim, and Hail.

GE 1187 will depart from Sharjah every Monday and Thursday at 12.30pm and arrive in Taif at 2.10pm. The return flight, GE 1188, will depart Taif at 3.10pm and reach Sharjah at 6.50pm.

GE 1221 will depart from Sharjah every Monday and Thursday at 2.25pm and arrive in Al Jouf at 4pm. The return flight, GE 1222, will depart Al Jouf at 5pm and reach Sharjah at 8.30pm.

GE 1181 will depart from Sharjah every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 3.30pm and arrive in Gassim at 4pm. The return flight, GE 1182, will depart Gassim at 5.30pm and reach Sharjah at 8.20pm.

GE 1197 meanwhile will depart from Sharjah every Thursday at 11.15pm and arrive in Hail at 12.30pm. The return flight, GE 1198, will depart Hail at 1.30pm and reach Sharjah at 4.40pm.

All the flights to the four destinations will be operated using the carrier’s A320 aircraft.

The airline has recently confirmed that it will resume flights to several other destinations this year. It will resume its seasonal flights to Bodrum and Antalya, in Turkey from Sharjah starting July 1, 2022. Bodrum represent the third city, while Antalya represents the fourth city that Air Arabia flies to after Istanbul and Trabzon in Turkey.
