Alpha Dhabi Holdings (ADH) has announced the start of its first recruitment round, which intends to hire 2,500 citizens over the next five years through the Nafis programme.

Nafis is a federal initiative that aims to develop the Emirati workforce’s competitiveness and lay the foundations for filling 75,000 private sector job openings within the UAE over the next five years. Launched as part of “Projects of the 50″ initiative, the programme aims to accelerate the UAE private sector’s development and facilitate more employment, training, and upskilling opportunities for Emiratis.

ADH offers potential for progress and growth in the fields of construction, healthcare, hospitality, industry and investment in promising sectors.

As a way of attracting citizens who want to work and have the capabilities, skills and expertise, the Abu Dhabi headquartered company recently held a career day during which UAE nationals were chosen to fill a number of professional positions in the companies of Alpha Dhabi Holding.

Eng. Hamad Al Ameri, managing director and CEO of Alpha Dhabi Holding, said: “Our strategy at Alpha Dhabi Holding regarding our active partnership with Nafis is to recruit and train UAE talents to meet their aspirations and market challenges by providing them with the necessary expertise and skills which will enable them to find suitable positions in private sector institutions and give them a fair opportunity to develop their careers and potential, and for our country to employ their energies optimally as well.”

He continued, “Alpha Dhabi Holding companies are ready to receive the first batch of UAE nationals who are scheduled to start filling their positions after the National Day holiday. This is an important message to send, as we are pleased to be working according to the vision of our wise leadership which is encouraging the empowerment of UAE citizens, giving them the opportunities to develop their experiences, abilities and potential for career growth and progress.”
