Kalaam, which provides communications and IT solutions for the enterprise market, said the deal would strengthen its position in the GCC and internationally and expand its customer base. The acquisition is the company’s third in the last four years. “This is a major milestone, a transformational step for Kalaam Telecom. Acquiring Tawasul is in line with our company’s vision of expanding regionally and internationally to further support the fast-growing telecom and ICT sector,” said Kalaam chairman Nezar Al Saie.
