The operator, whose Middle East portfolio comprises Banyan Tree Al Wadi and 32-villa Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaimah Beach, is keen to expand in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Abid Butt, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts CEO, who visited the UAE recently, said: “We are looking into various opportunities in the UAE to launch new hotels and resorts by forming new alliances and partnerships.” The Banyan Tree Group manages and owns 30 resorts and hotels globally, predominantly across Asia and the Indian Ocean (Banyan Tree Seychelles pictured).
