Home GCC UAE BMW distributor AGMC opens new showroom in Dubai’s Motor City The 300,000 sq ft facility is the first automotive dealership in the motor-themed Dubai neighborhood by Gulf Business Staff January 4, 2021 AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has opened a new showroom and service facility in Dubai’s Motor City area. The new facility covers over 300,000 square feet and is the first automotive dealership in the motor-themed Dubai neighbourhood. AGMC says the new facility will offer a virtual sales consultation service. Before each order, customers will have the chance to configure their preferred features by utilising interactive car configurators within a dedicated sales area, with their creation shown on a large LED screen. AGMC will also be offering in-house financial services in collaboration with BMW Albatha Financial Services. AGMC Motor City will also feature an array of digital services across its new online service platform with a “Pit Stop service” option. Customers can interact with technical staff via an app as well as an online technical support platform. Read: Lexus UAE partners with Facebook for new online showroom experience Clients can utilise CitNOW, AGMC’s newly introduced digital video sharing platform, a tool that sends visual video updates to customers regarding their vehicle status and condition when the car is in for a checkup. Customers can also view the repair team at work through glass panels in the lounge. The service centre comprises of 34 work bays, 17 of which will be for fast-tracked queues, with the capability to service up to 100 cars per day. The showroom will play host to BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad Clubs and enthusiasts. Customers can improve their driving skills at the facility, with the help of racing simulators. Also, gamers can take part in tournaments hosted by AGMC. The dealership will be also running kids driving school activities, and hosting children programmes to educate them on basic traffic rules. There will also be the latest BMW Concept cars on display, and a selection of classic cars. The facility even includes a retail area and in-house café, the Healthy Farm Eatery. A terrace, overlooking the Autodrome racetrack, is available to watch races and events hosted by Dubai Autodrome. The veranda will also be used for new car launches, customer events and gatherings, and the latest BMW and MINI lifestyle collection shows. Due to the showroom’s location, the dealership will be organising “Drive like a Pro” track activities in partnership with Dubai Autodrome where customers can participate in Autodrome test drives, drive events, motorsport track days and driving experience programmes. 0 Comments
