The 79-room property, independently owned by the Aber Group, targets travellers who want small-scale privacy and personalised services, a segment it believes remains ‘niche’ in a city covered by large multinational brands. Fouad Bizri, General Manager, Boutique 7 Hotel & Suites, said despite its size, it will be positioned at the increasingly competitive high-end of the market. “It is definitely not for travellers who are on the look-out for the cheapest room,” he said. “We wish to be selective with our guests as we realise not everybody understands the value of personalized service and agrees to pay for it.” Amenities include e 1Up (British style sports & entertainment lounge), Garden of Eden (outdoor coffee shop and shisha lounge), an all-day-dining restaurant, 2GO (coffee shop and sandwich bar) disco, spa and pool. The ‘7’ in the title is a nod to the UAE’s seven Emirates and its ability to blend modernity with tradition.
