Dubai-based Careem has reduced the minimum fare on its Max rides in the emirate by up to 50 per cent.
It has also reduced starting fares and waiting charges on these Max cars by 30 per cent, the company announced on October 22.
The Max cars can seat up to four passengers on every ride.

Careem added that regardless of the discount, customers can still avail of the benefits of the rewards programme by collecting points on every ride.
It has listed 25 official partners for its rewards programme, including Emirates Skywards, Booking.com, Just Mop, and Reel Cinemas, among others.

In related developments, it recently launched a new intercity service for customers travelling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.

However, passengers need to obtain a negative Covid-19 test that’s not older than 48 hours to be eligible for entry into Abu Dhabi.
