Cebu Pacific to increase flights between Manila and Dubai from August 13

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will increase flights between Manila and Dubai from once weekly at present to twice weekly starting August 13, 2020.

CEB’s Dubai-Manila flights are scheduled to operate every Monday and Friday, while its Manila-Dubai service will operate every Sunday and Thursday, the airline said.

Travel regulations issued by the governments of the Philippines and the UAE will be implemented, a statement said.

Before going to the airport, passengers are advised to check for real-time flight status on CEB’s website. The airline urged passengers not to go to the airport unless the flight schedule is verified and confirmed.

“This is a developing situation. CEB may adjust flights depending on government regulations. The airline will contact passengers through the email addresses and mobile numbers provided upon booking for any information regarding their flights. They will also provide updates through the website and official social media accounts,” the statement said.

The airline also said it is offering more flexibility to passengers – including unlimited free rebooking for new bookings (may be subject to fare difference), waived rebooking fees for three months of an existing booking (subject to fare difference), and extension of the Travel Fund validity to two years.

For passengers with cancelled flights, or those who want to voluntarily alter travel plans, bookings can be managed on the Cebu Pacific website.

CEB also stressed that it has intensified precautionary measures across its operations with daily extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols for all aircraft and facilities, rapid antibody testing for all frontliners and crew members, and contactless flight procedures.

Flights may be booked through the airline’s website or mobile app or at any branch of Al-Ansari Exchange and Al Rais Travels located across the UAE.
