Construction begins on new Address Jumeirah project in Dubai Marina

Construction work on The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort and Spa, Emaar’s new development in Dubai Marina, has now begun, it was announced on Monday.

Located at the end of the Jumeirah Beach Walk, the project will feature the tallest tower on the beach with views of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai – the world’s largest observation wheel currently under construction.

The Middle East Foundation Group has been appointed as the enabling works contractor, a statement said.

The foundation work will feature 22km of bored piling for the two-tower development. In total, over 222,000 cubic metres of earth will be excavated for the three basement levels.

With a built-up area of 255,000 sqm, The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort and Spa is located in the last available land plot for development on Jumeirah Beach Walk.

Essentially a single tower, it is designed in a split formation with a distinctive ‘space’ carved out in the centre.

The project has three key components: The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa with 183 rooms and suites; The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort + Spa comprising serviced apartments; and ‘The Residences Jumeirah Dubai Managed by The Address’.

The first two are located in the 303 metre-high, 75-storey West Tower while the residential apartments are located in the East Tower.

A lobby links the two towers.

The luxury apartments have ‘La Dolce Vita’ themed interiors and residents will have access to more than 100 metres of exclusive beach front and five food and beverage concepts within the development including the lounge at the top level and a signature Sky Restaurant.

Other F&B concepts include a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant connected to the pool and a beach grill.

A full service spa, 24-hour gym, dedicated board rooms and ballrooms will be among the other facilities.

The project was first unveiled in late September.
