Home Industry Hospitality Corinthia to manage Meydan’s new Dubai Marina hotel The new resort will be located on the former site of the Meydan Beach Club by Robert Anderson June 7, 2016 Corinthia Hotels has signed an agreement with the UAE’s Meydan Group for a new luxury beachfront resort under construction in Dubai. Under the deal, Corinthia will help design, develop and operate the resort property being built on the site of the former Meydan Beach Club on Jumeirah Beach Residence’s The Walk. The Corinthia at Meydan Beach will comprise 300 hotel rooms and 60 serviced apartments, scheduled to open in 2019. It will feature a stepped podium with landscaped pools and gardens, indoor and outdoor leisure and dining facilities, a luxury spa, a club and banqueting areas. A 55-storey tower of residential apartments, bedrooms, suites and entertainment zones will stand on one side of the podium with views of the Palm and Dubai Eye ferris wheel. American design company AE7 has been appointed architects and designers of the project. “Our core business is the global management of horse racing, as well as large scale mixed use real estate developments in Dubai,” said Meydan board director Mohammed Al Shehhi. “With Corinthia as our hospitality partner, we continue to complement our array of capabilities in ensuring world class delivery of products and services, with our flagship beachside development as a starting point.” 0 Comments
