Home Covid-19 Covid-19: UAE reports 13 new cases, total tallies 153 The total number of those who have recovered in the country totals 38 by Zainab Mansoor March 21, 2020 The UAE registered 13 new infected cases of the Covid-19 virus that were discovered through early reporting and active investigation, official news agency WAM reported. The registered cases were people who travelled abroad or came into contact with previously infected cases. This brings the total of those infected in the country to 153. An additional seven patients of varied nationalities have now fully recovered after receiving the necessary health care. A total of 38 patients have now overcome the infection across the country. The Ministry of Health and Community Protection urged the public to cooperate with relevant authorities by adhering to the instructions, and practising social distancing for the safety of the community at large. The UAE announced the first two deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus in the country, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced early Saturday morning.
