The new infections were detected, after 563,330 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also reported five deaths due to Covid-19 complications, spiking the related death toll to 2,224. Meanwhile, as many as 965 patients recovered from the infection, increasing the recovery count to 770,423. The nationwide case count has risen to 830,832.
