The UAE’s health ministry has confirmed 1,077 Covid-19 infections, 845 additional recoveries and two fatalities on December 21.
The new cases were detected as a result of 94,911 tests conducted to screen for the virus.
The case count in the UAE has now risen to 194,652, including 169,840 recoveries and 639 deaths.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 264 new Covid-19 infections and one death across the sultanate.
The total cases in the country now equal 127,931, including 116,354 recoveries and 1,489 deaths, Times of Oman reported.
