Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,226 cases, 1,611 recoveries and 3 deaths
The death toll in the UAE has now risen to 642

The UAE has reported 1,226 additional Covid-19 infections, 1,611 recoveries and three deaths on December 22.
The new infections were detected as a result of 140,051 tests conducted to screen for the virus.
The case count in the UAE has subsequently risen to 195,878, including 171,451 recoveries and 642 fatalities.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 212 new Covid-19 infections and one death across the country.
The total cases in the country now equal 128,143, including 119,945 recoveries and 1,490 deaths, Times of Oman reported.
Bahrain
The health ministry reported 168 new Covid-19 infections, out of 10,598 tests conducted on December 21.
Out of 10598 COVID-19 tests carried out on 21 December 2020, 168 new cases have been detected among 69 expatriate workers, 83 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 16 are travel related. There were 211 recoveries from #COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 88542 pic.twitter.com/k6y44g13t4
