The new infections were detected, following 202,184 examinations conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also confirmed 1,250 recoveries in the last 24 hours, raising the total recovery tally to 528,769. Meanwhile, the death toll, with four additional fatalities, has risen to 1,637.
