Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,270 cases, four deaths
The case count in the UAE has risen to 548,681
The UAE has reported 1,270 new cases of the Covid-19 infection on May 18.
The new infections were detected, following 202,184 examinations conducted to screen for the virus.
The health ministry also confirmed 1,250 recoveries in the last 24 hours, raising the total recovery tally to 528,769.
Meanwhile, the death toll, with four additional fatalities, has risen to 1,637.
A total of 548,681 people across the UAE have contracted the Covid-19 virus, since it broke out earlier last year.
